What this website is
Roofing Contractors Newcastle is a referral service. When you call or send the form, we take down the details of your roof and pass them to an independent roofing contractor who works in your area and does that type of job. The contractor contacts you, inspects the roof, and gives you a written quote. If you go ahead, your contract is with them.
We do not employ roofers, we do not hold ourselves out as a roofing company, and we do not publish testimonials, star ratings or claims about years in business. What we publish is practical information about roofs in this part of NSW, so you can have a better conversation with whoever turns up.
What we ask of the contractors we refer
We ask the contractors we work with to:
- hold the NSW licences and insurance their work requires
- inspect the roof in person before quoting
- provide a written, itemised quote
- explain whether a repair is enough before recommending replacement
- photograph anything they are asking you to pay for
