What to tell us
The more we know, the better the match and the quicker the contractor can prepare:
- your suburb
- the roof covering, if you know it: steel, concrete tile, terracotta, slate, fibro
- single or two storey
- what you have noticed: a leak, rust, cracked tiles, storm damage, or simply age
- whether water is coming inside now
- whether you are claiming on insurance
- whether there are solar panels on the roof
Photos of the roof taken from the ground, and of any ceiling stains, are useful when the contractor calls.
If water is coming in now
Move belongings away from the leak, put a bucket down, and if the ceiling is bulging with water keep people clear of it. If water is near light fittings, switch off power at the switchboard if safe and call an electrician. Do not go on the roof in wet or windy weather. Then call us and say it is urgent. Read what to do in a roofing emergency for more.
Send the form
Use the form on this page to send your details. A local contractor will contact you to arrange a time. This is a referral service; see the disclaimer and privacy policy.
What happens after you get in touch
Your details are passed to one independent local contractor who covers your suburb and does the type of work you described. They will contact you to book a time to inspect the roof. The inspection and written quote are free, and there is no obligation to go ahead. If you would like more than one quote, say so and we will tell you how to arrange it.
